This isn’t just about candles. It’s about atmosphere.
The kind that hits before you’ve even turned the lights on. It’s a scent story, told in bourbon-soaked whispers, tomato vines after rain, a well-worn leather chair, and the soft thud of a dog flopping next to you.
At Whiskey & Woof, we make luxury candles for people who live well and smell better. For travelers with passports full of stamps, drinkers who don’t need mixers, and scent lovers who know the difference between mass-market musk and something that makes you pause mid-conversation like, “Wait. What is that?”
The idea for this brand sparked on a cross-Atlantic trip—London to New York—over bourbon, banter, and a very opinionated Frenchie. I realized there wasn’t a fragrance brand for people like us: complex, curious, a little feral, and completely over gendered marketing.
So I built one.
Whiskey & Woof is a tribute to scent memory and stories that stick. Our candles are:
- Hand-poured in small batches
- Made with a proprietary coconut wax blend (non-toxic, clean-burning, and sustainably sourced)
- Scented with IFRA-certified, phthalate-free fragrance oils that meet the highest international standards
- 100% vegan and Leaping Bunny certified (because cruelty-free should be baseline, not bragging rights)
We produce everything with care, intention, and a bit of swagger—sourcing jars, wicks, and fragrance vendors in North Carolina, Brooklyn, Texas, Massachusetts, Oregon and California, While we navigate tariffs, and see vendor pricing on the upswing as well as shipping for the last six years, our signature 8 oz candle has remained the same price. This is artisan candle craftsmanship. While we have investigated outsourcing, everything is still hand-poured in house because we have yet to find a manufacturer that will hold our standard in wax and fragrances.
Whether you're lighting up No. 23 Equality for a rich hit of saffron, plum, and oud... or getting your flirt our Watermelon Aura, our summer surprise "sophisticated beyond what I thought a watermelon scent could be and not overly sweet,"... you're not just scenting your space. You're declaring it.
