Tis the Silly Season! Many of you have messaged me in confusion asking where the candles, reed diffusers and other scented products have gone.
A year ago my darling Elle lost her life. She was the inspiration for this brand and much of this year has been challenging. I appreciate every sale that has come through and I did a lot of soul searching.
It took me 9 months to successfully leave our former Brooklyn home. I tried many avenues to locate a trusted partner to outsource the production of the items. There were a few major events including the L.E.A.F. Flower Show that got canceled without explanation a few weeks before leaving me with excessively larger stock numbers going into summer.
It was time to leave New York. A friend told me today she is uncomfortable discussing death. My dear clients I've never been one to back away from adulting. Every package with a scented product sent was me doing it from making the products, designing and applying labels, to working with retails some more scrupulous than others, packaging and shipping. And I loved doing it. I miss it and have been fixing candles in hosts' homes all over Australia. LOL!
Trust me the best smelling storage unit in New York is mine and I think about it at least once a day.
FAQ: Where can I order Whiskey & Woof candles & other scented products:
CQ: You can order online from the Brooklyn's Women's Exchange.
They currently have candles, reed diffusers and room sprays. They were stocked up before I left Brooklyn. I think they are a wonderful and ethical organization.
FAQ: Will you be coming back for Christmas? I need my Tipsy Pumpkin and Bon Vivant candles.
CQ: I had originally planned to however airfares back to Australia were outrageously high in January so I have rescheduled to return to New York in April 2024.
FAQ: Will there still be mystery bundles available then?
CQ: Absolutely. There will be tiers and I can tell you that there are a few hundred candles, fragrances and a dozen at least reed diffusers.
FAQ: Have you considered moving back to the US?
CQ: Yes. I am trying to do an honest assessment of where I belong. I had not been back to Australia for 18 years and it's different, I'm different, the world is different and certainly the cost of living is different.
FAQ: Would you consider a partnership? Selling?
